Abstract

The author examines the totality of the distinguishing features of the new Turkish poetry, its aesthetic nature as representator of Turkish national picture of the world. In determining the continuity of the Turkish poetry of the late 20th — early 21st century, the author traces the dynamics of priority in the development
of modern Turkish poetry, its thematic spectrum. Indirectly considered political factors that have influenced the formation of the subject matter of poetry. Particular attention is focused on the new literary movement “yenibutundju” its impact on the development of modern Turkish poetry tradition. Conditional division into time periods (1980—1990s, 1990—2000s), the formation of modern Turkish
poetry contributed to the definition of the essential features of major literary movements and trends, fixation of the emergence of the postmodern beginning. An analysis of the factual material contributed allocation perspective poetic works of Turkish authors: social, daily, personal. In this article the Turkish poets names,
which are new for the Ukrainian orientalizm are introduced (J. Ball, D. Madak, A. Kalender, L. Myuldyur), as well as the excerpts from their poetic heritage translated into Ukrainian are presented.
