MYTHOSNENARIO CODE OF MEMORY (BASED ON WORKS BY LIUBKO DERESH)

Abstract

The author analyses memory as one of conceptual dominants in works by contemporary Ukrainian writer Liubko Deresh. The concept of memory has been decoded by using a myhological scenario code. The mythological scenario of beginning varies in his novels: as microscenario of an immersion into profundity of the memory, an omniscience, return to a Chaos; an embodiment of memoryremembrances is being provoked by a loss / disappearance / splitting of the ‘self’ and comprehension of Eternity. Simultaneously the modeling of the mythoscenario concerning a creation of self-cosmos as immersion into ulterior consciousness or the unconscious can be discovered. Idiostyle variant of space creating (“Pysankas’ spawning”) has been revealed. Concept of memory is a key point while presenting mythoscenario of creating reality through a choice. The conjunction of mythoscenarios of end and initiation through apparition of fear, anxiety, tensity, heat has been revealed as well as the image of a lizard as chaos isomorph. All of them reproduce an out-of-time semantics. Also the writer models an initiation myphoscenario leading personage with extraordinary abilities to tragic attempt: bondage and ‘memory incision’.
