INTERMEDIALITY IN LESYA UKRAINKA’S ARTWORK: OLLECTION OF POEMS “ON THE WINGS OF SONGS”

The article tries to analyse the collection of poems “On the Wing of Songs” by Lesia Ukrainka from the perspective of intermediality that, as it is known, aims at revealing the remedies of adjacent arts in literature. The interaction of poetry with pictorial art, the determination of prevalent codes (musical and acoustic or visual) of intermediality in writings promotes the outlining of additional techniques of sensemaking. Appealing to the resources of other art forms allows to find someone’s fulfillment better,
to elicit author’s ego more vividly, to experiment and expand pictorial and expressive abilities of artistic word.
