JOURNALISTIC AND EDITORIAL ACTIVITI OF MYKHAS TKACH

Abstract

The article deals with journalistic and editorial activity of contemporary Ukrainian writer Mykhas Tkach. The author of the article elucidates key problems of M. Tkach’s journalistic materials, journalistic analyzes of improvements: a hundred different genres of journalistic materials (notes, essays, articles, reviews, reports, interviews, etc.) in the local, regional and all-Ukrainian press, as well as two collections of cultural items, creative portrait painter of his native land, and mini-reviews “At the Turning Point of Centuries” and “Grains of Word”. It is presented Mykhas Tkach’s creative experience as “Literaturnyi Chernyhiv” chief editor. As editor, he
is constantly working on its new design, the expansion of the group of authors, a variety of columns and increasing their thematic focus, relevance, national orientation to the young reader’s worldview was formed on the basis of the traditions of Ukrainian history and culture. The creative experience of chief editor in times of economic difficulties can be useful for publishers and journalists of other Ukrainian magazines.
