The article deals with the novel “De Facto” — one of the leading epic works by Oleksiy Kundzych who created a unique gallery of peasants’ characters, and these characters are being marked with some overtones of historical and social authenticity denoted in parameters of literary studies by categories
of “historical and artistic truth”.
